Freeware End-User License Agreement (EULA) of ShelfClauses, "the Software", 13.12.2020

This End-User License Agreement is a legal agreement between you and Marc Buelow, further named "". This EULA agreement governs your acquisition and use of our ShelfClauses software directly from or indirectly through a authorized distributor. The Software is not sold, it is licensed. Please read this agreement carefully before completing the installation process and using the ShelfClauses software. It provides a license to use the ShelfClauses software free of charge and contains warranty information and liability disclaimers. By clicking "accept" or installing and/or using the ShelfClauses software, you are confirming your acceptance of the software and agreeing to become bound by the terms of this agreement. If you are entering into this EULA agreement on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity and its affiliates to these terms and conditions. If you do not have such authority or if you do not agree with the terms and conditions of this agreement, do not install or use the Software, and you must not accept this agreement. This agreement shall apply only to the software supplied by herewith regardless of whether other software is referred to or described herein. The terms also apply to any updates and support services for the Software, unless other terms accompany those items on delivery. If so, those terms apply.

License Grant: hereby grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the ShelfClauses software on your devices in accordance with the terms of this agreement. You can install on as many computers you like for commercial and non commercial puproses. You are permitted to load the ShelfClauses software under your control. You are responsible for ensuring your device meets the minimum requirements of the ShelfClauses software.
To meet the requirements imposed by the use of LGPL libraries the terms here permit modification of the ShelfClauses software for the customer's own use and reverse engineering for debugging such modifications.

Open Source used:

Excluded of this license are all parts of the software that are open source, see "lic" and "lic-src" directories and within the program menu "Help/about" and the Internet links provided there.

You are not permitted to:

- Reproduce, or resell the Software, sublicense, rent or lease the Software.
- Allow any third party to use the Software on behalf of or for the benefit of any third party.
- Submit so called fake-applications (toolbars, screensavers or e-books with no valuable content, ...) that exist only on a hidden page (not reachable from main page) and that only exist to get you backlinks to your webpage.
- Use the Software in any way which breaches any applicable local, national or international law.
- Use the Software for any purpose that considers is a breach of this EULA agreement.


You are hereby licensed to make as many copies of the freeware version as you wish and distribute it to anyone provided that all files are intact. You must distribute the install form of the freeware version (not the files resulting of an installation). You are not allowed to sell the freeware version or to receive a fee for shipment and handling charges.

Intellectual property and ownership: shall at all times retain ownership of the Software as originally downloaded by you and all subsequent downloads of the Software by you. The Software (and the copyright, and other intellectual property rights of whatever nature in the Software, including any modifications made thereto) are and shall remain the property of txt-


Warranty disclaimer:

The SOFTWARE is supplied "AS IS". disclaims all warranties, expressed or implied, including, without limitation, the warranties of merchantability and of fitness for any purpose. The user must assume the entire risk of using the Software.

Disclaimer of damages: assumes no liability for damages, direct or consequential, which may result from the use of the Software, even if has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Third Party Software:

The software uses open source software. All rights for these packages belong to their authors. Excluded of this agreement are all parts of the software that are open source, see "lic" and "lic-src" directories and within the program menu "Help/about" and the Internet links provided there. You will defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from and against any actual or threatened suits, actions, proceedings (at law or in equity), claims, damages, payments, deficiencies, fines, judgements, settlements, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees, costs, penalties, interest, and disbursements) arising from or related to any conduct with respect to your use of the ShelfClauses software or violation (or alleged violation) of these Terms.

Changes to the ShelfClauses software: reserves the right in our discretion to review, improve, change or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the ShelfClauses software and/or any features, information, materials or content on the ShelfClauses software with or without providing notice to you. will not be liable to you or any third party for any changes or discontinuance of the ShelfClauses software or any part of the ShelfClauses software.


This EULA agreement is effective from the date you first use the Software and shall continue until terminated. It will also terminate immediately if you fail to comply with any term of this agreement. Upon such termination, the licenses granted by this agreement will immediately terminate and you agree to stop all access and use of the Software. The provisions that by their nature continue and survive will survive any termination of this agreement.

Governing Law:

This EULA agreement, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with this EULA agreement, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hamburg, Germany.
